TERMS OF SALE

We accept cash, checks, debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. All purchases shall be accompanied by payment in full at the time the materials are picked up or delivered unless an Alta Vista Nursery charge account has been established. Charge account applications are available in our sales office.

RETURNED CHECK CHARGE

All checks returned by the bank will have an additional $35.00 service charge added to the outstanding amount.

GUARANTEE

Alta Vista Nursery strives to bring you the highest quality plants available at the lowest wholesale price possible. We take great pride in selling only the very best products. We guarantee that our nursery stock is true to name and variety. After the product leaves Alta Vista Nursery, we cannot control the care and maintenance of the plants and therefore cannot accept returns or refunds on plants.

ORDER CANCELATION

You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping or picking up your order. Custom or special orders may be non-cancellable or incur restock fees.

TERMS ACCOUNTS

Alta Vista Nursery will open credit accounts with established companies and customers if the customer provides sufficient credit information and maintains a suitable payment history. Payments are due within 30 days of the invoice date, unless other arrangements have been made in writing. Overdue accounts are subject to a 1.5% monthly service charge. The buyer agrees to pay attorney fees and court costs for any balances turned over for collections. When crediting an account with a payment, any outstanding service charges may be paid before applying any part of the payment to open invoices.

PRICES

All prices are FOB Alta Vista Nursery and are subject to change without notice. Trade discounts are available based upon sales volume. Please call for additional details.

DIRECT SHIPPING PROGRAM OFFERS SAVINGS

Alta Vista Nursery has the ability to ship truck load orders of various products from hundreds of vendors direct to your job site. This reduces handling costs and enables you to take advantage of our volume discounts that we then pass on to you, our customer.

JOINT CHECK AGREEMENTS

We encourage joint check agreements on all commercial projects when items are purchased on an Alta Vista Nursery account.

PRELIMINARY LIEN NOTICE

Alta Vista Nursery will request information as to the developer, owner, general contractor, subcontractors and lender on all job sites where we deliver on credit. Upon request, we will issue a material release upon payment of account.

CLAIMS

Shortages and damages must be claimed at the time of delivery and documented on the delivery form. Claims involving variety or grade must be reported in writing within 5 days of receipt of product. Valid claims will be credited for purchase price of product only.

HOLDING POLICY

Alta Vista will assemble and hold any size order for a period of two weeks. Unless special arrangements are made, the plant material will be returned to open stock after the two week period.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Special orders will require a 50% non-refundable deposit.

FUEL SURCHARGE

Fuel Surcharges fluctuate based on the changes in fuel prices incurred by Alta Vista Nursery from our vendors and suppliers. We consistently monitor these charges and do everything possible to reduce this charge when possible.

PRIVACY POLICY

Alta Vista Nursery is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. When it comes to our customers’ personal information, we don’t sell, rent, or share it with any third party. Altavista-nursery.com (“Site”) is owned, operated and maintained by Alta Vista Nursery LLC. To make sure your personal information stays private, information we collect through this Site is used only in the way and for the purpose described in this Privacy Policy.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT FROM CUSTOMERS?

When you visit this Site, we automatically collect your Internet Service Provider’s address, the web page from which you came, and a record of what you do while on our Site. For some site activities, like asking a question or signing up for our email list, we’ll ask you for your email address, and we’ll hang on to that so we can be sure to get back to you with what you need.

When you make a quote or register an account on the Site, Alta Vista Nursery LLC. collects your billing and shipping address including your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, and phone number and any other information necessary to process your order. Credit card transactions are processed directly by a third-party processor. We never collect or store your credit card data on any of our systems. You can always refuse to supply personal identification information, except that it may prevent you from engaging in certain Site related activities.
